Pharmaceutical Referrals or Compounding

Pharmaceutical compounding is the practice of tailoring medication ingredients based on the context of a patient’s medical needs, such as combining two or more drugs to more pointedly target a condition or symptoms.

What is a Compounding Pharmacist?

In the United States, compounding pharmacists follow the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) standards. They provide high-quality compound prescription products, including active pharmaceutical ingredients and sterile compounding that meet Food and Drug Administration requirements.

TPC Pharmaceutical Referrals

The Pain Center refers patients to community pharmacies in the Valley that provide these professional compounding services for easier administration of drug products through compounded medications.
