Since completing the family nurse practitioner graduate degree program at Walden University, a major focus for Kaylene John has been pain management for orthopedic conditions. She enjoys the challenge of identifying the treatments that will best address her patients' individual experiences of pain. Her foremost orthopedic areas of interest are the treatment of shoulder, neck, back, knee, foot and ankle pain, however she is also trained in treating additional regions causing pain. One aspect of professional practice that she finds most rewarding is building a relationship with patients to enable them to achieve a better overall quality of life.
Ms. John is excited to be a clinician at The Pain Center because of its evidence-based approach to pain management and capacity to offer a wide range of interventional procedures that provide long-term pain relief. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Outside of her professional role as a nurse practitioner specializing in pain management, Ms. John enjoys spending time with her family. Originally from Idaho, she resided in Nevada and Texas before deciding to settle in Arizona. With a life-long passion for engaging in athletic activities (including gymnastics, cycling, volleyball, and swimming), she truly enjoys hiking in the Arizona mountains.
