In 2005, Dr. Saini graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) before earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from Touro University Nevada in 2012. She then went on to complete her residency training in Anesthesiology at Hahnemann University Hospital. In 2017, Dr. Saini completed her fellowship at the University of Washington. She is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine with the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Saini has wanted to be a doctor for as long as she can remember. In medical school, she was initially drawn to physiology and pharmacology, which made pursuing anesthesiology a perfect fit. However, Dr. Saini found herself missing the interaction with patients, which drew her to medicine in the first place. During residency, she realized that pain medicine offered the perfect balance between patient interaction, “hands-on” experience with the interventions, and the gratification of being able to help someone in need.
Dr. Saini understands that by the time patients go see a pain physician, they have already seen several other medical providers (including chiropractors, acupuncturist, naturopaths, etc.) and are desperate for some relief. As such, Dr. Saini enjoys working with and getting to know patients to help guide them in a manner that is specific to them and their pain needs.
When she’s not treating patients, Dr. Saini enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and interior decorating. Dr. Saini speaks English and Hindi.
