What are you most excited about in working for The Pain Center of Arizona?

I am excited to be around a group of providers who all have the same philosophy and belief that patient care comes first.

What do you like about treating patients with pain?

I love treating patients with pain because I have been there, and know what it’s like to be in pain. I ruptured my disc playing football as a kid, which eventually led to back surgery. I continue to do the same exercises and injections that I recommend to my patients that deal with pain on a daily basis.

What is your favorite thing to do outside the office?

I love to play ball and piano with my kids. I also love to hike, cycle, and play tennis with my wife. As far as sports go, I am just an Arizona fan. l root for all the teams.

Were there any inspirational doctors or mentors you had?

The two doctors that I feel had the most impact on my training were Steven H. Rose, MD and Marc A. Huntoon, MD in Rochester,
MN at the Mayo Pain Clinic.
