What are you most excited about in working for The Pain Center of Arizona?

I’m excited to work with a great group of well-trained physicians. I feel that they are all very well established and experienced, and have done a great job at treating most pain disorders.

What do you like about treating patients with pain?

It is a complex disorder that many physicians shy away from treating. Therefore, chronic pain patients sometimes get left out and don’t get the treatment they deserve, and that’s why I am so pleased to be helping patients relieve some of their symptoms of pain.

Where is the future of pain management going?

Pain is the number one ongoing reason why patients are going to any type of physician. I feel with an aging population and better healthcare that patients need better pain management and better pain control for the future.

Is there any one specific area of pain management that you have a special interest in?

I have a great deal of interest in neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation therapy). I feel like that is the future of pain medicine.
